DIRECTOR, Richard L. Smith

Professor Richard Smith is Director of the Venture Finance Institute. Professor Smith developed the Entrepreneurial Finance courses that are offered by the Drucker School, and has developed significant new methodology for the design of venture financing relationships. In addition, he has conducted research on a number of aspects of venture financing, including, among others, work on IPO underwriting, equity private placement, and venture capital. Professor Smith also consults in the areas of valuation and financing.
